Look at the mist, at the midpoint, Bermudas will not suffice anymore, we went on rent marshmallow coats to trek up to the summit. The rent is RMB200, which you can get back RMB185 on return of your coat. So it really costs just S$3 (15RMB) to rent them. Unlimited time period.. Oh well, you probably won't need it for more than a day too.
At it's coldest, the temperature was 9 degrees. That was at night when trekking down from the Golden Peak to find lodging. It was teeth-chatteringly cold! Never did we thought that we were so severely underdressed. Many passerbys gave us the shocked looked when they noticed our lower attire.
