These pictures deserved a post on its own because it is so difficult to get to, we slept over at a monastery atop Ermei-shan and woke up at 430am freezing, our legs, toes and hands were numbed and starting our engines was tough. Before settin' off for the peak in pitch darkness, we dropped by the main hall again to bid farewell to the monk and burn some incense. It was bitterly cold and hard to breathe in such altitude. After a couple of rest stops, we managed to reach the top, called Jin Ding, by 530am. The sunrise took place around 630am. The wind was taking lots of heat away from our exposed legs (Except Weipeng who changed to pants).

Leshan Next..the Big Buddha that you see the characters fighting in Feng Yun. It took 90 years to build.
